You know what’s kind of beautiful?

timorleste:

In French, you don’t really say, “I miss you.”

You say, “Tu me manques,” which is closer to, “You are missing from me.”

I love that. “You are missing from me.” You are a part of me, you are essential to my being. You are like a limb or an organ, or blood. I cannot function, without you.

If I lost you- Shiny Toy Guns

(a take on the song “Time” from the Inception soundtrack)

quote

"She’d been with him, even if it had been for such a short time. And when she left, it was like opening up that vast void within all over again. As if during the days after her disappearance a thick liquid had slowly seeped in and filled that chamber, only to have it all sucked out again when she came and went."

The Scorch Trials- James Dashner

I loved this quote when I first read through the book last week, but in light of recent events it fits rather well in my life. Just switch the genders and you have exactly how I’m feeling.

Band of Horses - No One's Gonna Love You

No One’s Gonna Love You- Band of Horses

joshtalas:

Right now, there are people all over the world who are just like you. They’re lonely. They’re missing somebody. They’re in love with someone they probably shouldn’t be in love with. They have secrets you wouldn’t believe. They wish and they dream and they hope, and they look out the window whenever they’re in the car or on a bus or a train and they watch the people on the streets and wonder what they’ve been through. They wonder if there are people out there like them. They’re like you, and you could tell them everything and they would understand.

And right now, they’re sitting here reading these words, and I’m writing this for you so you don’t feel alone anymore.

Partners in crime

Alright, so say you met someone and then for the next 3 months you saw them literally every single day. Sunday-Saturday, every day of the week. And then for the next 3 months after that you two were never apart for more than 2 or 3 days at a time. Then suddenly after 6 months of seeing each other so incredibly often you’re going to be apart for 11 days straight. And you know there isn’t an icicles chance in Hades that you two will get see each other over these 11 days. 11 days isn’t a long time, and you’ve been apart from people for longer than that. But it’s just so weird because you’ve always been guaranteed to see them at least 4 times a week if not more, and now suddenly you can’t see them at all. So what do you do to pass the time? How do you keep yourself busy until your confidant, your friend, your partner in crime so to speak, comes back?

/Sigh this week at work is going to suck

Love peace and pancakes,

Miss Kaytie Marie
